Privacy & Cookie Policy

Last updated: 29 August 2026

This policy explains what personal data HRServices collects through this website, why we collect it, how long we keep it, and how you control the analytics cookies we use. It covers this website only — separate terms apply to client engagements.

Your current cookie choice

You have not made a choice yet — analytics cookies are off by default.

Your choice is stored locally in your browser (key hrs-cookie-consent) and applies to this device and browser only.

Who is responsible for your data

HRServices (hrservices.lt), Lithuania, acts as the data controller for personal data submitted through this website. For any privacy question or request, write to ilona@hrservices.lt.

What data we collect

  • Enquiry forms. Your name, email, company (where given), phone or WhatsApp number (where given) and the message or situation details you choose to share.
  • Direct contact. Anything you send us by email, phone or WhatsApp.
  • Analytics data — only if you accept analytics cookies. This covers pages viewed, referring source, approximate location (country/city level), device and browser type, and interactions such as button clicks and scroll depth.
  • Technical logs. Standard server logs generated by our hosting provider to keep the site available and secure.

We do not ask for special category data through this website. Please do not include health, biometric, or other sensitive details in a web form — we will collect those only through a secure channel when an engagement genuinely requires it.

Why we use it and on what legal basis

  • To answer your enquiry and provide advisory services — legitimate interest, and steps taken at your request prior to a contract (GDPR Art. 6(1)(f) and 6(1)(b)).
  • To understand how the site is used and improve it — your consent (GDPR Art. 6(1)(a)). Analytics never runs before you opt in.
  • To keep the site secure and meet accounting or legal obligations — legitimate interest and legal obligation (GDPR Art. 6(1)(f) and 6(1)(c)).

We do not sell your data, and we do not use it for automated decision-making or profiling.

Cookies and similar technologies

We use two categories only:

CategoryPurposeConsent needed

AnalyticsGoogle Analytics 4 (measurement ID G-P0EJWT77JY) — anonymous, aggregated statistics on pages viewed and how visitors move through the site.Yes — off until you accept

We use no advertising, remarketing or personalisation cookies. Google Consent Mode is configured so that ad storage, ad user data and ad personalisation remain denied at all times.

Who we share data with

We share personal data only with service providers that help us run the site and respond to you, and only to the extent needed:

  • Our website hosting and database provider (stores enquiry submissions).
  • Our email provider (delivers and stores correspondence).
  • Google Ireland Limited — Google Analytics, only where you have accepted analytics cookies.

Where a provider processes data outside the EU/EEA, transfers rely on the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses or an adequacy decision. We may also disclose data where required by law.

How long we keep it

  • Enquiries that do not lead to an engagement: up to 24 months, then deleted.
  • Client correspondence and records: for the duration of the engagement and afterwards as required by Lithuanian accounting and limitation rules.
  • Google Analytics data: retained on Google's standard retention setting.
  • Your cookie choice: kept in your browser until you clear it.

Your rights

Under the GDPR you can request access to your data, correction, erasure, restriction of processing, portability, and you can object to processing based on legitimate interest. Where processing is based on consent, you may withdraw it at any time. Email ilona@hrservices.lt and we will respond within one month. If you believe we have handled your data improperly, you may lodge a complaint with the Lithuanian State Data Protection Inspectorate (Valstybinė duomenų apsaugos inspekcija).

Changes to this policy

We update this page when our data practices or the tools we use change. The date at the top always reflects the current version.
